Ingredients

  • 7 fillets tilapia boneless, skinless
  • ½ cup soy sauce reduced sodium
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 habanero pepper minced
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1 tsp black pepper ground
  • Green onion for garnish
  • Basil for garnish

Method

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, habanero, garlic, ginger, and black pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  2. Pat tilapia fillets dry and place them on a parchment-lined baking tray. Pour marinade over the fillets, turning to coat evenly.
  3. Broil on low for 7–10 minutes, or until cooked through and flaky.
  4. Garnish with green onions and basil. Serve immediately or portion into meal prep containers.

Notes

  • You can bake or air fry if preferred.
  • Adjust the seasoning to your preference. I'm watching my sodium intake, so I used low-sodium soy sauce and didn't need to add extra salt.
