How To Make Flavorful Cilantro Lime Rice

cilantro lime rice

You know how some meals sneak their way into your routine and refuse to leave? That’s exactly what cilantro lime rice did to me 😅. I first discovered it after moving to the States, and ever since, it’s been a non-negotiable anytime I order from Chipotle. The freshness of the lime, the burst of flavor from cilantro, and that light, fluffy rice texture? Absolute heaven! 🌿🍋

But I wanted to give mine a little protein boost, so I swapped regular water for chicken bone broth (you can find the recipe here), and trust me, it made all the difference (richer flavor, deeper aroma, extra nutrition, you name it!). I paired mine with my Creamy Coconut Chicken (you can check out that recipe here. They’re the perfect duo 😋).

🌿 Why You’ll Love This Dish

  • It’s simple, fresh, and healthy; perfect for weeknights.
  • The lime and cilantro add a bright, refreshing flavor.
  • You can easily pair it with nearly anything, from stews to grilled meats.
  • The bone broth gives a protein boost and adds that cozy, homemade taste.

So, if you’re looking for a refreshing, flavorful rice dish that takes minutes to make, let’s get cooking!
