Streaktember Challenge: My Day 1

I recently came across the Streaktember challenge on TikTok, and it immediately caught my attention. The idea is simple but powerful: run at least 1 mile every single day throughout September.

As a mom of two, I’m always looking for realistic ways to stay active. Long workouts aren’t always possible, but one mile? That feels achievable, even with my busy schedule.

Why I’m Joining the Challenge

Day 1 Recap 🏃‍♀️

Today is Labor Day, and I knew I needed to get my run in before the house got busy. I hopped on my treadmill indoors because, honestly, there’s no way I can comfortably run outdoors with a stroller right now.

So, I set my alarm, laced up my sneakers, and ran 1.04 miles before the kids woke up. It wasn’t about speed, it was about showing up. And crossing that first mile felt like such a win.

Looking Ahead

I know some days will be tougher than others, but the beauty of this challenge is the simplicity: just one mile, every day. My goal is to keep stacking these wins and see how consistent I can be over 30 days.
