Streaktember Challenge – Day 29: One More Day to Go

Wow, Streaktember day 29 is here! Some days, the biggest victory isn’t how far you run, but the fact that you laced up and showed up. Today was one of those days.

Even though I went to bed early and woke up refreshed, getting on the treadmill felt like a tug of war. My body wasn’t tired, but mentally, I just wasn’t feeling it. At one point mid-run, I even had to pause and take a deep breath to push through. This was only the second time during this challenge that I felt this way, and you know what? I don’t feel bad about it.

Because here’s the truth: Streaktember has taught me commitment. It’s shown me that once I put my mind to something, I can stay consistent no matter how many obstacles life throws my way. Whether it’s sleepless nights, headaches, busy days, or moments of mental resistance, I’ve shown up for 29 straight days.

Not every day has been smooth; in fact, I’ve probably had more twist days than easy ones. But that’s exactly what makes this victory sweeter. This journey has reinforced Philippians 4:13 for me: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Tomorrow is the grand finale, Day 30. It feels so surreal that I made it to streaktember day 29. I’m so proud that I’ve come this far, and I’m grateful for the grace that carried me here. See you on the final day! 🎉
