Streaktember challenge Day 15 has arrived, and I can’t believe I’m already halfway through this challenge! This morning wasn’t smooth sailing at all, but that’s the reality of building consistency. Despite setbacks with my tripod, fatigue from staying up late, and my daughter’s endless breakfast questions while I ran, I still showed up. That’s what Streaktember challenge Day 15 is all about: pushing through curveballs and keeping the streak alive.
A Rocky Morning Start
Last night I stayed up until 2 a.m. working on my computer. It was supposed to be a simple task and before I knew it, minutes turned into hours. So when my 5:20 alarm rang, my body said “nope.” I had made up my mind to run in the evening instead, but when I got my daughter ready for school, I realized I had a small window to squeeze in my 15 minutes before my baby woke up.
That’s when the tripod drama began. The legs were wobbly from when my kids ran into it yesterday, so it wouldn’t stand. I felt discouragement creeping in. But then I reminded myself: I’m running for me, not just for content.
Running Beside a 5-Year-Old
My treadmill is right beside the dining table, so I ran while my daughter ate breakfast. But if you’ve ever tried to do anything next to a 5-year-old, you know what happened: so many questions. Between answering her, running, and juggling my phone to record, it felt chaotic.
The lighting wasn’t great either since my tripod has a ring light, and without it, the video quality suffered. But you know what? I ran anyway.
The Win of the Day
Surprisingly, my effort was marked as “medium,” and I didn’t feel too exhausted by the end. That’s a win in my book. Most importantly, I’ve hit the halfway point: 15 days straight of showing up, no matter what obstacles came my way.

I’m proud of that, and I’m even more excited to see what the next 15 days bring.
